Pembroke Welsh Corgi

General Desscription:
Pembrorke Welsh Corgis originated in Pembrokeshire, Wales. As far back as the 10th century, Corgis were originally bred for herding sheep, bulls, horses, and castle. They are most likely the oldest and smallest herding breed. Corgis have undercoat of line, soft fur, with an overcoat of short, somewhat coarse fur. Pems can be red, sable, fawn or tricolor, with or without white markings on the legs, chest, neck, muzzle, belly, or as a narrow blaze on the head. They are hard-working and loyal. Pems have proven to be exellent companions, and are outstanding competitors in sheepdog trials and dog agility.
Royal Dog of England and the favorite of Queen Elizabeth II, she supposedly has ten Pembroke Welsh Corgi; Marlowe, writer Stephen King’s Pembroke Welsh Corgi.
